Aug 11, 2019 · I have had mammut, petzl adjama and cadillac harnesses in the past, and the arcteryx blows them all away. also makes for a good spot to hang shoes if you're climbing a multipitch with a walkoff decent. My current Arcteryx harness is super comfortable when whipping and more comfortable than the above for hanging belays. Can anyone clarify what the key differences between this harness and the Petzl Sama/Adjama? They're both sub $100 recreational harnesses, and I get the sport/trad differences between the Sama/Adjama, but the Corax seems like a better harness than both, for much less money. Nov 22, 2010 · I really like Petzl's harnesses. :D In the case of the harness (maybe it wasn't clear but I already have that rope I mentioned, and used multiple times, to rappel and so on, never to lead climb obviously), I currently have the Petzl Adjama, I like it and use it for everything, I think that the Petzl Altitude is a valid harness too. With its comfortable padded Endoframe waistbelt and leg loops and five giant gear loops, the Petzl Adjama is the perfect harness for this style of climbing. Petzl Sitta.
